1. 有機反應及無機反應之反應機構的理論探討。

2. 設計動力學穩定、但熱力學不穩定的新型分子,以解決日益污染的環境問題。

3. 有機及無機光化學反應之反應機構的理論探討。

4. 奈米碳管分子之化學吸附加成反應的理論研究。
