Composer Yi-Chen Chen received her doctoral degree from University of Maryland, College Park and Master degree from University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. She has won Walsum prize for her orchestral work Labyrinth. Her music has been presented in Society for Electro-Acoustic Music in the United States (SEAMUS), WOCMAT 2011 conference, and Taiwan Contemporary Music Forum. After working at the Overseas Chinese University, she joined the NCYU faculty in 2012. She also lectures at Taipei National University of Arts, and Taipei Municipal University of Education. Her current interests includes cross-disciplinary multimedia project and electroacoustic music.
