Mission

Perspectives
The department engages foreign specialists and encourages faculty to expand their knowledge through short-term training and research in its ongoing pursuit of teaching excellence.
The program aims to give students basic knowledge of sampling, analysis, and the cultivation and conservation of natural resources.
Biodiversity programs are conducted in cooperation with universities in Asia, Europe and the Americas.

Career Development
Employment opportunities: After passing the national examination, our students are able to find employment at national parks, museums, government forestry departments, and biotech research institutes. Job opportunities are also available at local government agencies associated with life sciences and private companies in the apiculture and biotechnology fields.
Graduate study: Students may also do graduate work in the fields of zoology, botany, biology, microbiology, parasitology, biotechnology, entomology, and natural resource management.
