This program emphasizes: balanced development of both farm and companion animal medicine; and education of clinical veterinarians by specialties. Our students receive complete training in Basic Veterinary Science, Clinical Veterinary Science and Clinical Practice. After graduation, they may joint post-graduate training program, devote to research, start their own clinical services after being licensed by the National Veterinary Board, or become a civil servant by passing the Civil Service Examination.
The goal is to nurture outstanding veterinary scientists and to promote joint ventures between academia and industry. Professors are encouraged to partner with the government in promoting continuing education, to achieve excellence in teaching, research and extension services, to support the advancement of the industry, and to educate next generation scientists.
