Program Introduction

All students are required to complete 36 credits.including:
1. Core courses(3 credits):Research on Educational Research, Advanced Educational Statistics
2. Elective courses(27credits): compulsory courses 10 credits and elective courses 17 credits
3. Thesis : 6credits.
Students are required to complete 30 credits. The core courses in this program include: Introduction to Mathematics Education, The Study of Mathematics Curriculum Development, The Study of Mathematics Concepts Development, The Study of Mathematics Teaching Design, and The Philosophy of Mathematics Education.
In science education, including introductory courses, psychology, constructivism, scientific qualities, the history of science, curriculum model, STS, research methods, educational statistics, data analysis, and discussion of publications and topics pertaining to science education. They are also required to take six credits of seminar classes in the fields of physics, chemistry, biology, earth science, and environmental science.
