De-En Chang earned a diploma in vocal music from the National Brescia Conservatory of Music in Italy. During his time in Italy, Professor Chang performed numerous baritone roles in several operas. After returning to Taiwan, he actively engaged in opera performances and took on roles as a musical director, orchestra conductor, and vocal coach. Professor Chang is a member of the opera workshop at the National Theater and Music Hall. Currently, he serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Music at National Chiayi University and holds an adjunct Associate Professorship at the National Institute of Performing Arts, National Taiwan Normal University.
