2. The University is located in the southern part of Taiwan across tropical cancel line, so the research of the University is suitable in subtropical agriculture,and the University may develop into one of leading research institutes in subtropical agriculture.
3. The University will integrate various disciplines into several solid teams that may challenge the leading position in Taiwan,for example, application of biotechnology in agriculture and orchid science due to the University close to the sites of production.
