National Chiayi University Center of Humanities and Arts is to achieve the policy of promoting
students’general capacities in arts and humanities; we set the guiding principle of aesthetic
education, which is one of the policies of Ministry of Education. We particularly established
National Chiayi University Center of Humanities and Arts to improve research standard of
arts and humanities, to sublimate spirits of humanity, to strengthen the public’s
cultural capacities, and to develop humanity and technology education equally.
Mission
1.Extension: Holding all sorts of activities to cultivate people’s disposition of humanities,
arts, and aesthetics. In the role of university humanities art institution, we collaborate and
interact with community groups, cultural and educational organizations or enterprises.
2.Research: Doing researches or plans related to various cultures and education
of humanities and arts
3.Guidance and consultation: Providing professional services, guidances and consultations
about humanities and arts
Others: Coordinating with National Chiayi University to conduct all kinds of art and culture Activities.
