Degree Requirements
The degree of Master of Science in Chemistry is granted when a graduate student completes certain formal requirements. To earn the M.S. degree, a student must have a minimum of 24 credit hours, including 12 required number of credits, and 6 credit hours of thesis. An oral thesis defense is given close to the end of the final semester.
