Research Interests:

We are interested in developing analytical methods for determining trace elements or bioactive compounds in natural products or environmental samples. The techniques customarily used are high performance liquid chromatography, capillary electrophoresis, atomic absorption spectrometry, electrochemical methods and fluorospectrometry. Recently, the focus of our research is to develop the analytical methods for the determination of selenium, including preconcentration, interferent removal, separation (or speciation), and detection.
